So many logos…
Because I’m not a formally trained graphic artist, I don’t get hung up on creating beautiful and cutting-edge graphic design. Rather, I approach each piece from the perspective of an actor: How old is this logo? What’s it’s backstory? In what context was it created? Etc. Because, as we all know, not all graphic design is beautiful nor cutting-edge.
“Background Logos” …Logos are just so ubiquitous in our world that as graphic artist for an Art department it seems like I’m endlessly creating new logos for greeking, product labels, print ads, websites, etc. etc. I can’t afford to spend much more than five minutes creating any of these which we may only ever catch a quick glimpse of on camera – and they need to be generic enough that we don’t need to clear them through lawers – but just in case one does end up front-and-center, it has to look legit!
